Curios

Sentiment can be a wonderful thing to hold on to. But what happens when it starts collecting dust? This is the story of stuff. 

I started this project when I found my self torn between holding onto a curio of my grandmothers or putting it in a goodwill bag. By paring the objects together in a seemingly unusual composition, I discovered myself breathing new life into these simple objects. What once was tucked away under bubble wrap and packing tape, now lives on in a new light. 

I will continue to capture these curious curios as the stories they have behind them may be mundane to one, but mean the world to another.
